Please join us as the UW Tower Green Team hosts the 1st annual Tower Green Fair on May 19, 2011. The purpose of this free event is to educate and engage Tower & Campus employees and students on the benefits of sustainability in everyday life. The fair will be held in the Tower cafeteria, on the Mezzanine level of the UW Tower, from 10:30am to 2:00pm.

Fun and informative exhibits are planned. Highlights include:

* Chef Becky Selengut of PCC Natural Markets will be demonstrating how to make delicious, healthy salads using the wonderful organic produce from PCC.
* Mighty-O Donuts will be sampling their organic vegan mini donuts.
* The Washington Toxics Coalition invites you to bring household items to be tested by their X-Ray Florescence device. Parents, bring your kids' toys by to be sure they're safe!
* Measure your carbon footprint on the Tower Green Team's carbon computer.
* Sample and learn about organic free trade chocolate from Theo Chocolate.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of sustainability with a collection of music videos.
