Just some quick updates on UW Farm online activities. You can now comment on blog posts using a facebook log-in, which is a great way to start a conversation about the farm on facebook! We have some interesting stuff being posted on the blog right now, so I encourage everyone to go take a look.

We also have some exciting positions opening up at the UW Farm. These positions are for the 2011-2012 school year, although we'd love to get you on board right away!
-First, we're looking for another person to work on our website and social media pages. Get trained to work on our website, weekly newsletter, twitter account, or facebook fan page. This is an incredibly important aspect of engaging with our farm community. See description here.
-Second, We're looking for a few people who would like to gain experience in managing a blog, editing articles, and writing relevant posts! This is a great way to develop a writing portfolio as well as editing, social media, and communications experience. See description here.

These positions will potentially overlap, so feel free to suggest alterations to the job description. All of these are flexible and should ultimately be something that you will benefit from and enjoy!
