[TheUWfarm] Mushroom logs

Hey farming people,
So we ran out of wax and weren't quite able to finish with inoculating the logs, so there will be one more day of work with the logs Monday 2-5pm, and also setting up some netting to keep squirrels and birds from getting in to the king stropharia mushrooms that are coming up.

Re: [TheUWfarm] Summer Dirty Dozen and More!

Hello Farmers!

If you haven't already noticed, the weather right now is just perfect
for making compost! I know it's been scorching hot the past few days,
but that means we can get A LOT of microbial activity in our compost piles.

We don't have an official compost crew set up this summer. But if you're
interested in getting your hands dirty this quarter, we can start
collecting coffee grounds from HBar again, turn the compost piles, take
temperatures, and keep adding 'fresh ingredients' to them. Please email
me back with your name, contact info (preferred email and/or phone
number) and how involved you can expect to be, e.g. 2 hours a week, etc.
(just to gauge how active we'll be this quarter). No prior experience
needed!

Melting under the sun,
Kay
