On Sept. 29th there will be a screening of the new film, Symphony of the Soil, directed by Deborah Koons Garcia and featuring UW's own (and seriously awesome) Prof. David Montgomery! I'm hoping that you can help spread the word about a special Seattle Town Hall screening of Deborah Koons Garcia's new movie Symphony of the Soil on Saturday, September 29th. Her previous movie The Future of Food was fabulous and her new on is also an amazing movie. I am proud to appear in it and Deborah has asked me to play some music, talk about the film, and sign copies of my new book The Rocks Don't Lie at the screening. We'd greatly appreciate help in advertising the event to anyone interested in food, sustainability, and our most fundamental overlooked resource—fertile soil!
