Hello Farmers!
My name is Ross Kirshenbaum, I was a part of UW farm leadership for two years until last year, when I spent 10 months living and working in Nicaragua with small-farmers while receiving academic credit. Today at 2:30pm, I will be presenting in Anderson Hall room 22 about my time in Nicaragua working with renewable energy incorporated with rural farm systems, small-scale producers and their transition to organic agriculture.
I will also be talking about opportunities for students to plan and fund similar trips abroad for school credit! I will be promoting the UW Farm a whole bunch so it would be great to see you there if you can make it!
