CoLAB on Food Research at the UW
We are really excited to be co-sponsoring the CoLAB discussion series. Collaborating with Strangers workshops connect UW students, faculty, and researchers during 3-minute speed meetings. Participants exchange and generate ideas, building new partnerships to start or improve upon research projects. [Course] ENVIR 495 - The Urban Farm -
What? A three credit class with information, practical hands on work, and inspiring ideas for the aspiring Urban Farmer!
When? - Summer A Term - Tuesdays - 12 to 5 with one weekend (required) field trip and service learning at the UW Farm.
Why? It is a great opportunity to learn more, make connections and get involved with urban farming on campus and beyond.

Skylight Farms is a startup 20 acre non-certified organic-practices farm looking for seasonal farm hands to assist in all day-to-day operations and fieldwork. They have room for both experienced and inexperienced workers. Positions are open beginning early April and run through October or November.
