Saturday, February 23rd from 9 am to 12 pm, come down to the lovely UW Arboretum to help spruce it up and hang out with UW Farmers and our CUH-Farm-Neighbors from Seattle Tilth!
The arboretum is beautiful, and not too far away. We'll probably have a group walking from the Botany Greenhouse Farm, and we'll also carpool. Please let me know by replying to this if you can lend a car for transportation or if you want to go and need a ride!
Why would the Farm have a work party at the Arboretum? You may well ask. In exchange for our farm space at the Center for Urban Horticulture, we help out the UW Botanical Gardens group (who manage both the CUH and the Arboretum) with 20 service hours each month.
Let's get lots of service hours racked up at this work party so we can focus ALL our attention on our lovely farm this Spring/Summer!!
