Friends,

As the days get longer, the air warmer, and the farm greener, we're wrapping up a school year bursting with campaign wins across the country!

Here's a taste of what we've done:

We've taken part in unprecedented political action around climate change and farmworker rights.
"It [the CIW Farmworker Freedom March] was a truly diverse and inspiring group-and perhaps not the "usual" face of the food movement.  And yet, each of these marchers had come to recognize the struggle of farmworkers as tied up with their own.  Each, in their own way, had realized that, until all of us are free, none of us are truly free."
-- David Schwartz, RFC A-teamer

We've asked our schools to be open and transparent about how much real food they're buying.
"I've found it really frustrating that students are required to be on the meal plan and yet we are not given any information about the food we have to eat....We have no idea where this food comes from, what's in it, or whether it meets any ethical standards." -- Samantha Meyer, Pomona College

We've started student groups, challenged administrations to change the food on our campuses, and united to form a national alliance of college food activists.
"If [the students] don't demand Real Food, that's a huge obstacle in getting us to change the food on campus....It's a lifestyle change, and it's not easy, but we're trying to create a food revolution on the PC campus." -- Kathleen Reside, Providence College

If you're graduating this year and want to stay connected, don't fret!  Join the Real Food Challenge Alumni NetworkStart by telling us a bit about yourself and your goals.

That's it for now, but stay tuned for more.
