[TheUWfarm] Foraging Class #4 Thursday 7:30 am.

Dobro vece,
This coming thursday morning we will be looking  at 5 new new plants/ groups of plants for Foraging Class #4.  We will be getting to know Dock (Rumex obtusifolius), Conifers, Cardamine species (Bittercresses), Lamium album (White Dead Nettle) and Daucus carota (Wild Carrot, Queen's Anne's Lace).  We will leave from the UW Farm @7:30 am, rain or shine, unless there is a massive snow.    If you are going to come and want my sparse notes for the plants, and are not on my foraging email list, email me.  WARNING-Do not attempt to harvest Wild Carrot without being 100% certain of your identification of the plant-it can be mistaken for poison hemlock, which can kill you. I look forward to seeing you all bright and early thursday.
Cheers,
Brady
