The last week in February is chock full of excellent UW Farm activities! You should come on down to give us a hand and have a great learning experience!
Saturday, Feb 25th there is a work party at the CUH from 11-3! We will be bed building, seed-sowing, and completing CUH volunteer hours in preparation for spring harvests! It's a beautiful time to be a part of the new growth of our student farm, and I would love to see you all down there. Be sure to bring your lunch, and sturdy clothes!
Sunday, Feb 26th is our much anticipated Winter Leadership Retreat! It will take place from 11-3 at the Botany Greenhouse space. Are you are a farm leader? Do you think you maybe have a great idea for the farm, and want to take leadership on it? Do you just really love the farm and want to get more involved? This event is for you! It is the perfect opportunity to get to know current farm leaders, what they do and how they do it, and do some work on the farm. We will be providing a delicious lunch, and setting up games and workshops. Come by and check it out!
Also in the last week of February is our All Farm Meeting, from 6-7 at the Botany Greenhouse space. Great if you want to learn more or catch yourself up on the farm goings-on and meet some of the farm regulars!
