Hey Farmers! I recommend getting involved in this if you can! The food and farm bill is one of the most far-reaching and impactful pieces of legislation. It impacts all of us in more ways than you might imagine. I was volunteering with this group last year and they are great! Take a look!

Farm Bill 101 Workshop
Wednesday, May 30, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Central Co-op
 
The 2012 Farm Bill is being written right now: Learn about how this crucial legislation affects our health, our economy, and our environment, and connect it to the global food system and food sovereignty. Discuss how citizens can work toward establishing am equitable, sustainable and healthy food system, and take action on site.

This workshop will be held in Central Co-op's community space, and is free for all. RSVP by telephone at 206.329.1545 ext. 215, by e-mailing us, or in person at the Info Central desk. Please include your name, owner number, and a phone number you can be reached at.
