[TheUWfarm] Urban Farmers needed!

I am looking for some urban farmers to help grow my business this summer.
GoGo Green Garden was established in 2007 and is an edible gardening business where we build, plant and tend gardens for city people in their backyards, front yards and rooftops. We have added some awesome clients this year with lots of space and are looking for a few extra hands to pitch in and help sow, grow & tend throughout summer and fall. We also want to support burgeoning environmentalists, farmers and food lovers! There is potential for growth and a long-lasting work opportunity for any go-getters.

Urban farming position pays $12-$20/hour DOE, and scalable as the season wears on. It is helpful if you have some simple tools, but not required. You should know basic gardening terms (sow, propagate, till) and principles (season extension, vertical gardening, etc), be familiar with seasonal plantings and have a general working knowledge of how to grow food. No new gardeners, please. All gardens operate organically. All gardens are in King County. Please send your desired work situation (hours, days, etc) and a resume and/or short paragraph about why you want to urban farm this summer to: amyp@gogogreengarden.com

THANK YOU!
