Want to improve your public speaking skills? Build your resume? Or just get more involved at the farm? Consider becoming a UW Farm tour guide! We are always in need of more people to lead tours, and you don't have to have any experience with tour giving, and only minimal experience volunteering at the farm. This week we will be having a "tour of tours," which is a workshop on how to lead tours at the farm.
Even if you don't think you're ready to lead tours yet, but might be interested in doing so in the future, this workshop is for you! The workshop will be 2 hours long and will provide you with a tour giving framework and lots of helpful skills, information and ideas to help kickstart your tour giving career! After attending the workshop, you can sign up to shadow other guides on some upcoming tours to build your confidence before you begin leading tours yourself.
