This does not relate directly to the farm, or food, but it does pertain to building a sustainable community! My coworker is on a team of Evans School students working with the UW Environmental Sustainability and Stewardship Office on sustainable commuting options to the UW community. She needs our help! Here is the message she asked me to relay:
A student-led research project related to commuting decisions is looking for focus group participants including faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students. Focus groups will take two hours and will be held at the following times:
Tuedsday, December 7, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Wednesday, December 8, 11:30am - 1:30pm
Thursday, December 9, 11:00am - 1:00pm
Thursday, December 9, 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Food and beverages will be provided for participants.
For more details or to volunteer, please email sustainablefocusgroup@gmail.com with the time you would like to participate, as well as your name, email, phone, university department affiliation and whether you are faculty/staff/grad student/undergrad.
