Hey everyone, REMINDER that tomorrow is the Hunger Banquet held at Hillel! It is a great event, I went last year and highly recommend it. I know a handful of farmers are going tomorrow, so I just wanted to pass along this reminder, and hope that a bunch of you can make it! Should be great fun! The farm is also tabling before hand from 5-6 at Hillel, so come by then as well and check out all the cool booth's pertaining to social/food justice!

A Hunger Banquet is being hosted at Hillel Community Center, on the corner of 17th and 50th! Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 3rd. The cost is 2 cans of food or a $2 donation. There is a social justice fair from 5-6pm, and the banquet is from 6-8pm. Kristin Grote, the program officer in the Global Development sector of the Gates Foundation, and Heather Day, the director of Community Alliance for Global Justice, will both be speaking on issues of hunger and poverty. Come learn about the different social action groups on campus and in the community, enjoy a meal while hearing from influential speakers, and discussing the need for change in the fight against hunger and poverty!
