David Montgomery is a professor here at UW. He is a strong advocate
for soil conservation and restoration. He speaks directly to the
importants of our soil building practices at the UW farm. I recommend
checking his lecture out!

A professor in the Department of Earth & Space Sciences at the
University of Washington,
Montgomery will talk about how his wife's gardening habit led them to
realize how soil restoration
could help humanity overcome some of the most daunting challenges of
the 21st century.
