Starting next week we will again be instituting weekly newsletters for the farm. This is to encourage everyone not to abuse the listserve - people have been frustrated with the high volume of emails sent out. However, we want your voice to be heard! If you have an announcement that is directly related to the farm, go ahead and post it on the listserve. If you have something farm/food related, like an interesting article, a community event, a local workshop, a cool organization, internship opportunity....let's try to put it in the newsletter if at all possible.
Here's how:
1) send me an email at harveym@uw.edu or michelle.ann.harvey@gmail.com. This is the best option.
-or- 2) send uwfarm@uw.edu an email (this is the farm's personal email account)
The newsletter will go out Sunday evenings, so please try to have submissions to me by Saturday night.
We have one coming out this coming Sunday, so feel free to send things my way in the next few days!
If for some reason I won't be putting it in the newsletter (which is rare), I'll let you know.
(also - remember that you can post on our facebook fan page at any time! The more the better! Just "like" the page and you'll be able to post....we'd love to see more go up on that page! [we currently have 311 fans])
