[TheUWfarm] be a Food Movement organizer

neat opportunity to be a regional leader of the Food Movement with the Real Food Challenge -

Real Food Friends,

Just one week left until applications for Regional Field Organizers and the National Team are due.

Application information here:
http://realfoodchallenge.org/get-involved/jointeam

As the youth movement for food justice grows, we want to be there to support it.  If you're excited to build real food initiatives on campus, grow a national grassroots network of real food champions and challenge the big food industry to get real--this is for you.

Taking a leadership position with the Real Food Challenge is a great learning experience. Working with other inspiring young (and less young) movement drivers, you'll hone your facilitation, public speaking, strategizing, relationship-building and community organizing skills.  You'll meet amazing young people from around the country and learn a ton about the food movement from the inside out.

Please send in your application by April 4th.

Time commitments range from 7-15 hrs/week.  Positions come with a small stipend, as needed.

Not for you?  Please pass this opportunity along to friends, colleagues, or other wonderful student organizers in your life.

Yours,
The Real Food A-Team

p.s. We're planning a series of special retreats for student organizers next year.  Together we'll dig into local issues while learning everything about campus organizing for food justice.  We're looking for locations and local partners for these 2-5 day retreats.  Email david@realfoodchallenge.org if you've got ideas!
