[TheUWfarm] Summer Happenings at the Farm!!!!

Hello all y'all who are interested in student Farming this Summer 2011!

The Farm is alive and more bounteous than ever this summer - both in produce (lots!!) and opportunities for learning, getting hands dirty and soaking up sun in BOTH our spaces! Check out the opportunities below and get back to me with questions/interest as point person at rachel@uwfarm.org about getting involved ~

Julia Reed and I will be co-coordinating our spaces this summer and are SUPER excited to see new and old faces around. Check it out!

Weekly Work Parties

Construction/Infrastructure Projects at the New CUH Space!

We just broke ground at our new space this past Sunday, and there's lots to be built in conjunction with our partners at Seattle Youth Garden Works! Shed, washing station, compost, oh my! If you're interested in taking part in the design/construction of these, let's set up some brainstorming sessions. rachel@uwfarm.org ~

Summer Tours

We have lots of tours that come through during the summer. If you'd like to learn AND teach about the Farm as a tour docent, email at rachel@uwfarm.org and we'll set up docent trainings and dates for future tours.
