Hello Everyone -

We have something very exciting happening this week! Will Allen, of Milwaukee's Growing Power, is coming to the UW this Wednesday, February 3rd.  Growing Power is a fantastic example of the potential of urban agriculture.  He won a MacArthur Foundation Genius Grant for his work, and produces food in the middle of a food desert.  Please check out the Growing Power website: http://www.growingpower.org/

Now, we need you!  The Farm has the amazing opportunity to host will on Wednesday, from about 12:15 - 1:30.  We're going to put on a pizza bake and talk to Will!  This is an amazing opportunity for us as farmers and for the farm, and we would love to fill up the place!  Please come by for some pizza and inspiration.  And come a bit early if you can, so we are all at the farm when he gets there.  (*and bring some toppings if you can!!*)
