Thanks to everyone for the truly awesome impromptu work party yesterday. We had people working from 9:30 until 4:30 yesterday with greater than 20 folks at the end. We now have a new 3-bin compost system, with a new compost pile, a whole lot more space in the back 40 cleared, a whole lot more light with some invasive trees removed, and the layout for our kiwi trellises started. I must say it was darn fun seeing everyone out there working there rears off. Thus I propose a weekly friday work party! Starting at noon, we can have a communal lunch and then we can all work together until we are too tired to move. I will send out a reminder on thursday and I hope to see you all there.
