Happy New Year! Here's a great opportunity to educate ourselves about fruit trees before we get our own little orchard at the P-Patch. Let me know if you'd like to join me, and I can figure out busing there together from the UDistrict. I've inquired with John about a possible student discount, and will let you know what he says.

Fruit tree and vine pruning class Jan. 9th, 10:00 to noon.  Hands on, ask questions about everything. SEE a well maintained Japanese plum tree, trained dwarf apples, new grafts. You will have hands on pruning practice and be able to ask questions about selecting, planting, grafting and maintaining fruit trees and vines in this area.
