Hi P-Patchers, SEEDlings and Farmers,
Our fruit trees are arriving this week! So I want to invite you all to what promises to be a very fun and important work party to plant them in the P-Patch Garden!!! The planting party will be this Friday, January 29th from 3:30-5:00pm. We have had GREAT turn-outs at the work parties recently (thank you for your energy and dedication!!!), so I know I don't need to convince you to come, but I do just want to acknowledge that this particular one is, I think, especially meaningful, since these are trees that will provide fruit for many generations of students to come. As an urban gardener on campus, you are leaving something behind for future students to enjoy, and the act of planting a tree is one of much intention and potential.

P.S. Farmers -- there was already a work party scheduled for the farm this Friday, so we decided to just combine the two activities. So if you were planning on being there anyway, then just come join us at the P-Patch. There may be people working down at the farm earlier in the afternoon who will tromp on up to the P-Patch at 3:30.
